The kitesurf has three types of maneuvers. The transition, the jumping and done in the water. For each one of these three options there are different terms and scores.

The transition are the direction changes made by the athlete. With such a maneuver the kiteboarder changes the direction he was following.

The jump maneuvers are done jumping in the air and are visibly more beautiful. There have been registered jumps up to 12 seconds. In this type of maneuver  the kiteboarder can literally fly.

And finally there are the maneuvers on the wave. Generally these maneuvers are adapted from the surf.
